Parque de los Deseos is located opposite the Botanic Gardens in Medellin, one of the reaons it was designed using largely water and hardscape. It is also adjacent the University of Antioquia and is directly accessible from the University metro stop, making it another popular public space in the city.
The ground plane is made of sloping planes of beautifully detailed stone and timber. A series of low-slung rotating timber seats are set off to one side, and several interactive elements relate to the Planetarium building along one side of the plaza.
